Michael Bitzer studied Business (Bachelor of Science) at the Corporate State University Heidenheim. During his bachelor studies, he spent a semester abroad at the Bond University (Australia). After one year as a project manager at ESTA Apparatebau, he joined the master program information-oriented business (Master of Science) of the University of Augsburg in 2016. Michael gained further practical experience at Faurecia (automotive supplier) as a working student in the field of digital transformation. He started working at the FIM Research Center as a research assistant in August 2018 and is a Doctoral Candidate since February 2020.
In his research, Michael Bitzer deals with topics in the field of digital transformation and explores how this digital transformation can be planned and performed with respect to social and ecological perspective.
