Anna Krombacher graduated from the Ignaz-Taschner-Gymnasium in Dachau in 2012. She began her Bachelor’s degree in information-oriented Business Administration at the University of Augsburg in 2013 after staying in Australia as an au pair for nine months. After a two-month stay in Sri Lanka, during which she taught Maths and English to children, Ms. Krombacher studied her Master’s degree in Business Administration at the University of Bayreuth. Ms. Krombacher gained practical experience during her Bachelor and Master studies in the Strategic Research department of KGAL GmbH & Co. KG in Grünwald and at the start-up MotionWerk GmbH in Essen. At the Research Center FIM and the Project Group Business & Information Systems Engineering of the Fraunhofer FIT she started working as a student assistant in May 2014 and has been working as a research assistant in Bayreuth since August 2020.
As part of her research activities, Ms. Krombacher focuses on digital and social innovation, in particular on their combination under the topic Digital Social Innovation.
