Curriculum Vitae
Fabian König completed his A-levels at the Rhabanus-Maurus-Gymnasium in St. Ottilien in 2013. After his stay abroad in New Zealand, he started his studies in Business & Information Systems Engineering in October 2014 at the University of Augsburg, where he obtained his Bachelor’s degree in 2017. From 2017 to 2020, he studied in the Elite Graduate Program Finance & Information Management at the University of Augsburg, the Technical University of Munich, and the University of Bayreuth. During his studies, Fabian König gained practical experience at the startup KIWI FINANCIAL-LIVING AG (Mannheim), the IoT-Team of Hilti Befestigungstechnik AG (Buchs, Switzerland), as well as the Senacor Technologies AG (Munich). At the FIM Research Center and the project group Business & Information Systems Engineering of Fraunhofer FIT, he started as a student research assistant in May 2015 and is a doctoral candidate since November 2020 at the Augsburg site.
Main Research
Within his research activities, Fabian König mainly focuses on data-driven business process management, as well as the application of artificial intelligence in process mining.
