Laura Kempf graduated from the Wirtschaftswissenschaftliches und Naturwissenschaftlich-technologisches Gymnasium in Bayreuth in 2014. From 2014 to 2021, she studied Business Administration (B.Sc. and M.Sc.) with a focus on Technology, Operations, and Processes at the University of Bayreuth. In autumn 2020, she was furthermore accepted for the first class of the Digital Leadership Academy. During her studies, Laura Kempf gained practical experience at Daimler (Supplier Capacity Management) and TenneT (Customer and Markets Germany). As part of her social commitment, Laura Kempf lived and worked in a girls’ home in Sri Lanka for two months during her master studies and was also engaged in the Kinderschutzbund Bayreuth. At the FIM Research Center and the project group Business & Information Systems Engineering of Fraunhofer FIT, she started as a research assistant in September 2018 and is a doctoral candidate since June 2018 in Bayreuth.
Within her research, Laura Kempf deals with questions in the field of digital and social innovation and with topics related to digital business models.
