Fabian Schmied completed his Abitur at the Jakob-Fugger-Gymnasium in Augsburg in 2010. Afterwards, he received undergraduate degrees in Information-oriented Business Administration and in Business Information Systems from the University of Augsburg. During his undergraduate program, he spent two semesters at the University of Rennes 1 in France. He then continued his academic education with the Elite Graduate Program Finance and Information Management at the University of Augsburg and the Technical University of Munich. During his graduate studies, he spent three months at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) in Australia. Besides, he was able to gain practical experience at Allianz Beratungs- und Vertriebs-AG (Munich), Radeberger Gruppe (Frankfurt) and the Research Center FIM where he worked as a research assistant since April 2011. Since October 2017, he works as a Doctoral Candidate at the Research Center FIM.
Fabian Schmied’s research projects focus on CRM and data privacy.
